Final Model

With my theme being “unity”, this bridge connects the Squarehouse from the Roundhouse to the Tyree building. This allows students to move around much easier, as everything is close and centered around the space requirements. I also added a lot of social spots including a bbq area that can be used by students, as this encourages unity amongst the students.

I decided to connect the bridge to all the buildings around the lower part of campus as it would be the easiest solution for the students getting around. It creates this massive area of space to work with, allowing me to add a lot of social spots on the bridge.

Two Moving Elements

This is an innovative design for a staircase which is different from any other staircase. It progressively collapses to the bottom of the first floor.

This is a roof structure made in grasshopper that allows for movement in all 4 corners. With this, it can be used to adjust the surface allowing for either more sunlight in a certain direction or when it is raining, funnel water into a direction which can be captured for recyclable use.
